I'm in a head-2-head fantasy Baseball league and it's my first time doing h2h and I wondering if you think that overthinking each week is a good idea. If the team I'm playing is low in a stat try to make just enough to win that stat and make up somewhere else or if it is best just to put out your overall strongest lineup each week. I'll always factor in matchups for the week but I'm not sure how far to take it.
Oh, and I liked Shadow better than Game and Xenocide was one of my favorites but that was just because it had an Anthropology feel to it and dealt with a lot of issues that I studied in school.
2 book recommendations for you: Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie and Soon I will be Invincible by Austin Grossman
Just finished the 4 main Ender books, Game was probably the best (although I think it could have been expanded a bit without ruining it). Definitely think the rest went a bit too detailed or uneedingly long and Children of the Mind still kind of just ended and everything resolved all hunky dory. Will probably read the Shadow series soon, I read Ender's Shadow a few months ago, it was pretty good, but knowing what's going to happen doesn't lead to much thrilling outcomes.
Hehe, yeah, I found that pretty amusing too. A tad annoying, I must admit, you sly SOB :p, your timing was spot on. Luckily for me, you got stuck right in the middle for most of the game.
